vivo has completed work on the Y300 Pro 5G model, the latest addition to its popular Y series. According to a statement from Vivo’s Vice President, the Y300 Pro will reflect the company’s strategy of bringing flagship-level features to cheaper phones.
What will vivo Y300 Pro 5G offer?
Some key features of the Y300 Pro include a 6.77-inch curved OLED display with 5000 nits of peak brightness. It’s powered by 12GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. It will also run Android 14 out of the box. It will receive 5 years of updates.
The smartphone will be powered by a 6500mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging, which vivo claims can provide up to 12.1 hours of play on a single charge. It will be 7.69mm thin and will feature softened corners.
On the camera front, the Y300 Pro is expected to have a 50 Megapixel main and 32 Megapixel selfie camera. It will feature an eye-catching design with a ring lens module and a glossy finish. The Y300 Pro will be available in four color options: Titanium, Golden Green, White and Black.
The Y200 model was unveiled in October last year. It featured a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and a 64 Megapixel main camera with OIS support. The smartphone had a 4,800 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 was in the processor seat. 8 GB RAM is accompanied by 128GB and 256 GB storage options. The vivo model, which comes with Android 13-based Funtouch OS 13 out of the box, has IP54 dust and water resistance ratings.
